Property Beautification · Creative Stewardship · Northern California
Some people maintain a property. I see what it could become.
I improve how distinctive homes and experiential properties feel, function, and welcome people through lighting, flow, sound, technology, presentation, and the overlooked details that make a place memorable.
Sometimes it means moving a piece of art six feet and the room finally works. Sometimes it's the Wi-Fi dead zone guests have quietly worked around for months, or an outdoor corner nobody thought to light that's been waiting the whole time to become the best seat on the property.
For more than fifteen years my work has crossed sound, lighting, technology, events, hospitality, and creative problem solving.
Make Places Better is where all of it comes together, on properties that are distinctive, beautiful, or a little under-realized, with owners who have more potential on their hands than time to develop it.

I do not own these properties. They are places where I have contributed creative, technical, practical, or guest-experience thinking.
01
Bodega Bay / Waterfront Guesthouse
A waterfront home on Bodega Bay where I've helped shape how the property feels, functions, and supports guests. My attention goes to lighting, flow, sound, technology, and the small details people notice even when they can't quite explain why a place feels good. Today, it operates as a frequently booked short-term rental.

Sonoma County / Experiential Property
A distinctive wine country property where I've contributed creative, technical, and experiential thinking across sound, lighting, gathering spaces, technology, and how the property presents itself.
I look at a property as a set of experiences: where people naturally gather, what they hear, what they see after dark, and what everyone has gotten used to overlooking.

03
Santa Rosa / Residential Space
A smaller residential space that reflects the same way I approach larger properties: noticing flow, function, lighting, and the details that determine whether a space simply works or actually feels considered.

04
Sebastopol / Prefab Residence
A double-wide prefab home on Tilton Road in Sebastopol where the work was about helping a practical structure feel warm, intentional, and genuinely good to live in.
The opportunity was not to pretend the home was something else. It was to notice what could be softened, clarified, placed better, lit better, and made more useful so the whole property felt considered.

05
San Francisco / Historic Residence
A character-rich Edwardian penthouse near Dolores Park where thoughtful placement, lighting, technology, and visual editing helped the home feel more cohesive without losing its history or personality.
The focus was not reinvention for its own sake. It was recognizing what already made the space special, removing friction, and helping its strongest qualities come forward.

06
San Francisco / Rooftop Residence
A Cow Hollow residence organized around views, gathering, and the transition between indoor and outdoor living.
The rooftop became more than an exterior amenity. Through attention to layout, comfort, lighting, sound, and the way people naturally use the space, it could function as a true extension of the home.

07
Utah / Destination Property
A distinctive property near Kolob Canyon where I'm helping the owner shape and launch the guest experience, presentation, and creative direction for what the place can become.
The work is about seeing the property as a complete experience: arrival, flow, atmosphere, gathering areas, technology, and the details that help a place feel coherent, memorable, and cared for.

Founder of Local Maker Mart and Recreation Sound Systems, with professional experience across live events, sound, lighting, AV, creative technology, and hands-on problem solving. That background is why I see properties differently. Property Beautifier is the warmer phrase for it. Creative Property Steward is the work.
I'm looking for one North Bay property where an on-site creative steward would genuinely add value: a second home, vacation property, retreat, ranch, estate, or something unusual with more potential than its owner has time to develop.
Private on-site living space can be part of a clearly defined, mutually beneficial arrangement built around presence, guest readiness, creative improvement, and technology.
The right property.
The right owner.
A scope that works beautifully for both sides.
